Manhattan Surgical Hospital continues to be vigilant with monitoring and managing the COVID-19 pandemic. In order to continue protecting our patients and team members we will continue limiting access to the hospital. However, we are excited to announce that Wednesday June 3, MSH will be allowing ONE visitor per patient. Visitors may not rotate through in order to reduce exposure (for example, the visitor that the patient brings on the day of surgery will be the only visitor that patient will be able to have in the facility for their entire stay at MSH). This plan applies to all patients who are seen at Manhattan Surgical Hospital. Visitors must be 18 years or older.
Each person will be screened by answering health questions, travel history and temperature checks. If they are symptomatic, they will be sent home. Anyone entering our hospital is required to wear a mask.
Due to social distancing and limited waiting room space, we occasionally may have to instruct visitors to wait in their cars until the procedure is over and we have the patient settled in either our Stepdown or Inpatient unit before bringing them back inside the hospital.
